Meet Jen

 
First, I want to thank you for checking out my work! I truly appreciate that you are interested in what I have to share, and I hope you've picked up a little bit of good energy while you've been here ;) 

I am a Lightworker Artist based out of a small farm town in the Fraser Valley, in beautiful British Columbia. I have two energetic boys and work out of the small studio space I have created in my home.

Before I learned to paint, I was a professional Wedding photographer for 8 years, mostly based out of the Okanagan. During that time I learned that I am truly a creative at heart.

Over the last few years, I have been learning to embody my authentic self and listening in to what it is that I truly want, rather than living my life to please others as I had done in the past.  I've been prioritizing my own self care and following my lead more, spending time doing more things that bring me joy, nurturing my inner child, and being open to where I am feeling called. 

In September of 2020, I learned to do acrylic paint pouring on a first date! From there, a passion was ignited and I was eager to learn, practice, and create. 

I had been seeking my purpose and wanting to discover my gifts - asking to receive guidance in my meditations for some time. I wanted to allow abundance to flow into my experience while doing something that stoked my creative passion and fire, that could also satisfy my instinct and very strong pull to help others heal. 

I received very clear direction and guidance over several months during my meditations in 2021, and had downloads about the collections I would create, and the purpose they would serve. The synchronistic messages I continued to receive about the healing power of my hands, and the new avenue of creative expression that I had found in painting suddenly found new meaning together. I had the clear direction I was asking for.

In early 2022 I completed my level 1 and 2 Usui Reiki, which has given me another tool and modality to deliver energetic healing through distance, space and time, and I began to infuse Reiki into my work. 

& now here we are! 

Over the years, sharing my personal work has evolved into facilitating private and group meditation/paint pouring experiences for others as well. I've always had a strong desire to be in a teaching role in whatever career endeavours I have pursued, and teaching others to create their own Art with intention has been incredibly soul-filling for me. I'm excited to see where this takes me!
